Mentorship

Mentorship fosters growth, development, and success in the lives of individuals and helps to create a cooperative, thriving community. The Employment and Education Centre currently offers two mentorship programs which empower clients to access the knowledge and resources they need to reach their goals.

Better Together and Roots to Wings are designed to assist with things such as career decision making, management and retention, soft skill development, expanding knowledge of local resources, and supporting members of our community adjust to life in Leeds and Grenville.

Better Together is geared toward new comers/immigrants and offers workshops and mentorship in the Brockville area. Covering all of the essential skills and knowledge needed to live happy and successful lives in your new home! Workshops offer helpful information on topics such as finances, transportation, physical and mental health, and employment.

Roots to Wings matches an individual with a professional working in their career of interest and fosters a relationship to expand knowledge, develop employment skills, and assist in making concrete decisions about their future career!
